Over 110 Years Strong

Bartingale Mechanical originated in the early 1900s with two brothers, Bert and Tom, who initially worked in the piping trades for Hobbs Supply Company in Eau Claire, WI. When Hobbs Supply shifted to wholesale, the brothers partnered with the Grosvold family to form Grosvold-Bartingale Co. Heating and Plumbing. In 1913, Bartingale Company was incorporated and eventually moved its headquarters multiple times, now located at 3213 Louis Avenue.
The company's reputation for quality and integrity was built through hard work and innovation, helping them navigate economic challenges, wars, and the Great Depression. In 1989, Jack P. offered seven employees the chance to form Bartingale Mechanical as a parallel company. As the original company's projects completed, Bartingale Mechanical grew.
In 2004, Bartingale Mechanical expanded its service side, maintaining a commitment to exceeding customer expectations with integrity and fairness, a philosophy that dates back to its founders.
In 2021, The Jamar Company found that Bartingale Mechanical was complementary fit and acquired the company. Today, Bartingale Mechanical is part of the Jamar family of companies, which also includes ICI - Industrial Contractors, Inc. Together, they have a significant regional presence and a national reach.
